Our mission at Wonder Roots is to support the growth and development of children as a pathway to healthier communities. Through community action & collaboration, we can reverse the rising statistics of attention, behavior and learning challenges in our students, and decrease rates of depression and chronic stress in both children and adults.

Wonder Roots is located in Vermont's Greater Burlington Area on the traditional territory of the N'dankina & Wabanaki peoples.
Located on the hills & valleys of the Lake Champlain Basin, our Wonder Roots program sites in Hinesburg & South Burlington offer diverse ecosystems with endless opportunities for discovery & exploration.
Our woods are full of northern pines, hemlocks, sugar maples and more with key features including: a shallow seasonal stream & grassy yard with our resident flock of ducks & chickens (Hinesburg), and fern patches, walking trails & climbing stumps (South Burlington).
