2020 Fall Programs are HERE!

I’ve been SO excited to reach out to you about the 2020 fall schedule —and today’s the day, it’s finally here! We've been looking at all the ways we can support our community this year and have developed multiple service options for children, families and schools including: TimberNook of Greater Burlington outdoor programs, and Wonder Roots NEW enrichment programs, EXPANDED home school support services & educator workshops.

Note: In order to create a balanced community for our semester-long Wonder Roots and TimberNook school-age programs, we have decided NOT to accept enrollment on a first come- first serve basis. The application period for our fall programs will be August 6 to 12th. We will review applications and get back to you with enrollment decisions by August 15th. After August 15, we will accept enrollment on a rolling basis as space allows.

Wonder Roots Programs and Services

NEW! Join us for outdoor, project-based learning opportunities.
Using a multi-disciplinary approach, we will integrate art, humanities and science into this nature-based, hands-on enrichment program. Children will work together and independently to dive into THREE 5-week topics.
Sept 3- Oct 1: Wild Crafting--
Discover some of the benefits of nature. We’ll learn to identify and forage for wild plants, create survival shelters and introduce skills such as wood carving and knot tying.
Oct 8- Nov 5: Simple Machines--
Learn about the 6 main simple machines and then use them to create projects such as Rube Goldberg machines, catapults and more!
Nov 12- Dec 17: Human Potential--
Humans are amazing for our ability to reason and work together. We’ll be investigating some of the amazing things the human body (and mind) can do through games and challenges as well as deepening our understanding of community.
